Storage Ponds
Ocean can be used as underliner for tailing ponds, liquid waste holding
ponds and water reservoirs. Lining a storage pond with an impermeable
membrane is the most efficient means of safeguarding against leakage.
But now a days ocean non-woven geotextile proved more economical
replacement and when installed along with the impermeable membrane of
storage ponds, protect the membrane form being punctured by sharp rock
and vent gases.
